Stable URLs is about making it possible for other ministries to hot-link to our media files, such as the MP3’s, or the PDF’s.
I think it is important to separate the meta data and the media data from each other. By doing this we can guarantee that when leaving LightNet some organisations media is still usable, because in its core it is decoupled.
Even when somebody would not use LightNet anymore, their media files can still be used.
